Yes. Managed hosting on infrastructure with Canadian data residency is included in care plans — CDN, domain management, and server management are all handled by Mitiksha. You can also bring your own hosting provider if you have an existing arrangement.

What is the difference between a care plan and a maintenance contract with a web agency?

Standard agency maintenance contracts are reactive: you submit a request, they schedule it, you pay hourly. Mitiksha care plans are proactive: we execute regular maintenance on a defined schedule and include a monthly content allocation in the plan fee. No tickets required for routine work.

Do I need a care plan if my site was built on Squarespace or Wix?

Hosted platforms (Squarespace, Wix) manage infrastructure and core updates themselves. The care plan value is lower but still applies for: content update support, performance monitoring, security review of third-party integrations, and proactive SEO maintenance.
